Primary Responsibilities:
Interact with current customers and potential customers concerning questions and issues related to Meisam products and services
Work directly with customers via a Customer Support Hotline to answer questions and fill out problem reports
A total commitment to you and the success of your library?
Maintain database of customer problem reports and enhancement requests and assist in tracking and solving problems
Assist, as needed, with the implementation procedure of the Meisam family of information management systems
Required Skills and Experience:
MLS from ALA-accredited institution, with course emphasis on or experience with library automation systems
In-depth understanding of and experience working with the USMARC format
Understanding of and familiarity with basic cataloging policies and procedures, including OCLC PRISM and CAT ME Plus software
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to address groups of people, present ideas and concepts clearly, and represent Meisam in a professional manner, in person and by telephone
